Denton's Bicycle, Pedestrian and ADA Coordinator is Leaving

Denton's Bicycle, Pedestrian and ADA Coordinator, Nathan George, is leaving the city to take a job in Florida.

The announcement came during Tuesday's work session of the Denton City Council. Nathan emphasized that the move is family related. "I truly have appreciated our time together, and I'll be cheering you guys on from the Sunshine State," Nathan said in his closing remarks to the Denton City Council.

Nathan came to the City of Denton in July, 2021. He hit the ground running, contributing to the 2022 Mobility Plan update, creating the City's first sidewalk work plan and overseeing the recently completed citywide speed study, among other projects.

Denton will continue to see Nathan’s contributions in long-term planning for years to come. His last day is October 21.
