Denton’s Next Major Trail Will Be…
The Denton Parks and Recreation Department has scheduled a virtual public meeting for the Pecan Creek Linear Trail Master Plan on Tuesday, August 30 at 6 PM.

The future Pecan Creek Trail will begin at the DCTA Rail Trail and Fred Moore Park and end to the east at Lewisville Lake. The trail will be approximately eight to ten miles long.

City staff have been working for more than a year to acquire all of the necessary right of way to make the trail a reality.
Learn more about the project and give your input by attending the virtual public meeting on August 30th. City staff recommend registering at least 24 hours in advance of the meeting to ensure you receive the Zoom link in time.
