Denton City Council to Vote on Proposal that Would Make Car-Free Travel Less Feasible
On Tuesday, the Denton City Council will vote on a proposal that would spread buildings farther apart, further reducing the feasibility of traveling around Denton without a car.

Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day on Saturday, October 1
Denton Parks and Recreation is hosting Take a Kid Mountain Biking Day on Saturday, October 1st. A limited number of bicycles will be available for checkout. An ID is required to borrow a bicycle.

PARK(ing) Day: Friday, September 16, 10am - 4pm
Visit the Denton Square this Friday, September 16th, 10 AM - 4 PM to learn about the impact of unused parking, alternative uses for this space and how that could make Denton more enjoyable, environmentally and fiscally sustainable and affordable.

Pecan Creek Trail Master Plan is in Development
Denton city staff held a virtual public input meeting about the planned Pecan Creek Trail on August 30th and are planning an in-person meeting in late September.
