Denton Voters Approve Trail Funding, Mingo Road Bicycle and Pedestrian Facilities
Denton voters approved $15 million in funding for trail development and $45.1 million for Mingo Rd and Ruddell St projects that include installation of bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure.
City of Denton Voters will Consider Trail and Mingo Road Funding in November Bond Election
On November 7, Denton voters will have the chance to approve trail funding, bicycle and pedestrian infrastructure on Mingo Rd and Ruddell St, and funding for Texas state parks.
Update: Trail Funding, Mingo Road and Loop 288 Sidewalks
Denton is progressing toward funding bicycle and pedestrian facilities on Mingo Road, adding more sidewalk to Loop 288 and funding more city trails that can double as transportation infrastructure.
City of Denton Kicks off Northeast Denton Area Plan
The City of Denton has begun the process of developing a small area plan for Northeast Denton outside of Loop 288. The City will host a community visioning open house on March 23 and March 25.
Trails, Mingo Road Proposed for Funding in Denton’s 2023 Bond Election
Denton voters could see bond funding for trails and Mingo Road on their November ballot, but only if they don’t get removed from the bond package before then.
